80th birthday

Hello again
I have made this card for a very dear friend who I have  known for over forty years, and whose birthday is the same day as mine. They are having an afternoon party at the retirement village where they now live, but because of my OH's not so good health, we are unable to go.
I printed the image and layered onto matching blue card. The sentiment is computer printed, numbers
were cut on my Cameo from black glitter paper and I also added some sparkly trim and 3 black rhinestones. I hope she will like it

Hello all
This is a commissioned card for the grandson of a work colleague. She asked for something to do with numbers or maths. I cased a card that I saw recently, but used various sizes of number stickers as well as 5 balloons. I think she was very happy with it.

Sparkly butterfly

 Hello all
My scan does not capture the pretty sparkle of the butterfly wings very well unfortunately
I have stamped the Hero Arts 'leafy vines' onto my card and then cut a square from it, which I layered onto a black scalloped square. On top of that I adhered my butterfly square (unknown) and adhered them over the cut out square. I lightly sponged the edges with 'wilted violet' DI and then adhered to a black card base. I embellished with some purple drops to finish.

Hello again

I unfortunately had to delete the post that I had done yesterday so here is a new one in it's place.

I also had to make a new card, which is similar. This time I stamped Crafty Individuals CI-385 onto DP from Lawn Fawn (watercolour wishes). I coloured the daisy with Enamel Accents, and the dragonfly wings with Stickles (icicle)

The sentiment is a download from Sassy's cards and gifts, which I have layered. 3 rhinestones for embellishment.

Promarkers herb green, moss, cardinal red, red, and copic burnt umber.
The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn, embossed with gold opaque EP. I shaded inside the frame with antique linen DI

Best Birthday Wishes

Hello again

I have had a lot of spare time this week so have been busy in my craft room

Todays card uses two dies that I bought from a member of a FB Group so I do not have their names.

I also used a panel from my 'ready to use' box, and found another wee scrap that had suitable colours for the dragonfly.

The sentiment is from a Uniko set which has lots of useful words. I then mounted the panel onto a matching lime green card base.

Hi, I am back again today with a card for the current Stay Crafty Challenge

I applied peacock feathers DI to make the panel on the left and then overstamped it with Hero Arts 'old french writing' with Brilliance  'platinum planet'

The next step was to stamp Hero Arts 'multi pattern butterfly' and Hero Arts 'wild delphinium' which I embossed using 'Dyeboss' EP

Three matching coloured rhinestones finished off the panel which I attached to a matching base card

 Hi everyone

I am back today with a card I made from an article in one of my stamping magazines by Tracy Evans. Her technique was to use gesso applied with a finger through a stencil and then sponged with ink, then wiped with a damp cloth to take the colour from the stenciled design.

I made 2 cards and this is the first. I have stamped a butterfly from a Tom Holtz set, (which does not appear to have a name) and coloured it lightly with copics. I also placed a piece of washi tape for it to sit on. I am not sure who the pre-made sentiment is from, as I have thrown out the packaging.

flowers

Hello and welcome to my first post for 2025.

I hope everyone enjoyed their festive celebrations. Ours was non existant as my OH has been in hospital for 2 weeks, but thankfully he was able to come home on Christmas afternoon. My DIL brought us some Christmas dinner that she had cooked, so we just enjoyed a quiet evening at home. He is now improving but it takes time

My card was made using a die that I bought from a fellow Kiwi, so I am sorry I do not know the brand.

I used a white scrap and a teal scrap to cut them and then attached to my card and envelope. I then attached a matching flower held together with a lovely large brad
